Ok people, so after hours of painstaking research i have finally decided to make an official statement about were things are going...
I would like to start by saying that it seems that Poland dont seem to be realising that the Treaty is on Wednesday and there not doing much, Poland desperatly need to get there act together otherwise nobody will second their non-existant demands...
Otherwise most countries seem to be getting along well. Each country (according to our unnamed source) appears to be working out what they're going to do nicly. Serbia (Heads of State are Graeme and Emma) has already made deals with france about seconding certain provinces, this appears to because of a tip-off that if serbia seconds france then france will second serbia, but watch it guys, look back to what has happened last time, u are not bound to actually second a motion when it gets down to it. Do not trust anybody. Graeme seems to be on the ball (as usual!) and keeping his country running nicly... just wait!
We have found out that italy seems to know what its doing - well actually Ben knows what italy is doing, no body else does...hmmmmmm. from the same mole we have been informed that there is a possibility that Italy is going to blackmail great britain into seconding quite a lot of thier motions which wont actually gain britain anything. only time will tell, we shall find out...
Apparently France seem to be getting cold feet about what they really do want, and if they are going to get it. It is therefore plausable to hypothesise that maybe they dont have anyone to second them? or maybe they want somethings which nobody else wants? or maybe they dont actually know what they want? who knows, the heads of state need to be aware though, if you dont know what you want you will be stuck when it comes down to the crunch.
poland... well so far we have made enough fun out of them!
the united kingdom seems well on the way to knowing what they want, but has anyone aggreed to second them??? however from an unbiased point of view i would say that they are the most prepared for the big day... anyone feel like changing that? there are two members of the same family in that team... arguments?... disagrements in motions?... who wants the uk to win??? anybody want to second them?
Acting on a tipoff it seems like the USA are having a secret meeting on monday, time unknown, to discuss speeches and motions, information is sketchy at best but we only know what we can find out... the usa is apparently doing ok-ish, i have heard that they are going to be working flat out this weekend. maybe we will be in for a suprise... who knows?

Well thats all for this week, keep reading these updates, they may help you decide if you want to second a coutry or not, so keep yourself posted, and get ready for the big day which will be recorded...
have fun peoples

*** News Update***
The chairman for the treaty on wednesday (mr jones) has agreed to an interview on what has happened so far. we will expect to hear his own personal views on who will win, what will happen etc. the recording of this interview (video and audio format) will be available on (hopefully) the same day. it will be very important for you to watch this as it may help you in what to do, we will ask him for tips about the day, what to do in sticky situations etc... remember this is the man who will decide if your motion will be passed, his say is final. if you know him better than the country next to you then you can suck up to him better, hence giving you the edge. watch the interview.

You over emphasise my role I feel.

Whilst I do have the power to strike down motions that fail the historical empathy or anachronism tests - see rules the conference will be conducted on democratic lines.

I do recommend that delegates listen very carefully to John's advice, re not trying to get too much decided in advance. You need to be able to think and act on your feet in Wednesday's meeting. Look at what failed last year and try to work out why. Much was 'decided' in advance that never made it. Look at last year's minutes http://www.intst.net...003/minutes.htm

The interview is over and Mr. jones feels confident that everything will go smoothly during the debate. BUT will things go as smoothly for Poland as they did last time when they became practically non existant or was that Austria? In anycase these countries should be care full because the "triple entente" countries may over exaggerate when discussing your involvement in the war!

UK, USA, FRANCE miss deadlines.
They WILL be penalised. Big news here people, it shows that if you dont play by the rules you will find it harder, get those points up quick.
