The IB year 12 have been making videos for VAG (VW cars) as part of their coursework. We (staff and students) would appreciate feedback on your favourite. What do you think?

The Golf advert is better because of the superior filming, and the sound effects.

Thanx Theo, i would like to say that the sound effects came from Need For Speed, i was driving an old porsche when i recorded the sounds, so our Golf actually sounds like a porsche (or is meant to)! I would also like to say that i think the bug one, (by hannah, hannah and grace) is probably the most thought out one, the lupo one (graeme, oliv and helena) looks most real, scale wise, and the bug one by matt and ed has got the best soundtrack.
But i think they're all good.

He he he he!!! They are all so cool! Each one is different which is great because there was a danger that we could all have done bascially the same thing; a car driving down a road, and us going "buy it!" in the background! But that didn't happen so yay!

Well done us lol! I was scared it was going to turn out realllllly crap because it took ages, it was hard to do, required, of all things, ORGANISATION, and we had to work in groups and co-ordinate etc etc.

But it worked out fine - they're not professional standard, but then neither are we!

You have all done well on this project - 4 distinctly different outcomes from the same brief. thats the great thing about design & technology - each assignment has you all working in different ways and the final products are always individual. Loverly jubbly!!

Interesting point Tans. Does music genuinely influence the consumer when they are making a judgement on something? They use music in shopping malls and supermarkets to help entice the buyer. It works in advertisements very well. What do people think?

Apart from the time that all the students put in to the projects James, what exactly makes the one you have chosen as 'the best'......the best?

Was it the sound track? Video angles? Subject content? Images? Background? Your sister is in the group? (sorry, only kidding). Let me (and others) know what your reasons are. It would be useful.

WELL I THINK OUR ADVERT IS COOL TOO!!!! IT IS NOT OUR FAULT IF OUR CAR GOT STOLEN AND WE HAD TO USE A BLUE ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND IT TOOK US AES TO MAKE THE CITY SET!!!
