Research Question;

Is chewing gum actually any good for you (does it clean your teeth, or cause stomach ulsers)?

Find out;

does chewing gum cause ulsers
the names of brands of chewing gum that claim to cleen teeth, or that don't claim to cleen teeth.
what exactly are the claims?

Hiya Mr.Faure, I've find some information about chewing gum, and it's claims to clean teeth. It claims that it's good for you to have one striaght after meals, as long as the chewing gum is sugarless. If we chew on the gum, it would produce more water (Saliva) , which would help to rinse off the acid on the teeth.
Another claim is that chewing gum which contains a certain substance (coudn't remember what's it called on the top of my head) which can be able to attack the acid on the teeth, it can also allow more saliva to be produced, and to be kept fluidly, and the flow of saliva can keep your teeth in good health. The brands I think are the speicl-dental ones, which can be used especially yo protect elderly teeth. Also, there a speical, teeth cleaning chewing gum which are issued to solders. Any brand of chewing gum which are sugarless claims that it can be good for cleaning your teeth. didn't have enough tume if chewing gum can actually cause stomach ulsers, but if I have time tonight, I will keep you updated

This is a good start. You need to add specific details to each of these claims. The name of the brand and exactly how saliva production helps to potect teeth. What exactly do you mean by "protects teeth" - it's not a gum shield in rugby is it?

Keep on working

Hiya mr. faure, it's Ben, how's the holidays? I've researched some new material, and I've now made a start on writing my introduction, but I'm not sure on how to write it> I know you must have a research question, what makes you interested in doing the topic, how relevant it is, but I don't know what to say, could you please help me, thanks

Also, is it possible to meet up in the school during the holidays, so that we can discuss more about this, as well as seeing other teachers for my work?

I will keep the reseqrch up to date thanks Ben
